Family owned.

The married couple Mariam & Thomas Brandt Touray opened Bolcheriet in 2001 and together with their skilled bolche family they ensure that delicious handmade bolches are cooked in Løkken, Svaneke and Skagen. Thomas cooks logo candies in all three locations so you don't have to be confused if one week you see them in Skagen and the next week in Svaneke.

Honestly. Genuine. Full of flavor.

Here at bolcheriet®, we make candies and caramels the traditional way - by hand. All of our candies are boiled over an open fire and the mass of candies is "pulled on a hook".

This makes the candies more airy and porous. And then they taste much better.

We do all our work in front of an audience. So are you and other guests
helps to check the quality of the product, and so on
it also much more fun for us.

We love to have visitors. It has been like this since 2001, when we cooked
our very first candy bar. And now we're well underway...

Danish champions. 2 times.

We're not much for bragging here at bolcheriet®, but we can
don't fail to tell that we won the Circle Award in
packaging design with our triangular boxes.

It's the closest you can get to being Denmark's champion in design.

We also have a kind of Danish record in logo candies. In the end, we had room for 21 letters inside a single candy bar, which is why we are often asked to do special tasks for companies and many others who need
something very special.

So if we go and smile a little every now and then, you know why...

See our cookery.

We have chosen to cook our candies over an open fire. When the sugar mass
when the temperature is just right, it is poured onto the cooling table.

Flavor and color are then added and here, too, the temperature is incredible
important, as it affects the clarity and taste of the bolchet.

The bun mass is pulled/oxygenated on the hook. This process is extremely important for the consistency and appearance of the candies.

Buns that are oxygenated on a hook become nicely porous and the taste is enhanced.

Bolcheriet® is one of the bolche factories that still pulls the bolche mass on the hook and thus achieves the best result.
